The Meal @ Phloen Chit--appropriately pronounced Plenty

Sunday, June 12, 2016
The shuttle from the hotel took me to the the Phloen Chit train station.  I knew the food vendor I met two nights ago was very nearby but I walked a couple miles the night before and went home hungry.  Tonight it was going to be different.  I got out of the Parinda shuttle and began to cross a very busy street.  I made it to the other side and glanced over my shoulder, OMG, there it is. (I do not usually use the abbreviations of social media, ie, lol, bff or OMG but when I saw it I literally said, "Oh my God".  Back in the day, we use to say the entire words out loud.

The traffic was ridiculous and was difficult to cross.  I finally got behind this very pretty Thai girl that the Taxi drivers allowed to cross as they gazed at her.  It worked for me.  I met up with the owner who said I was 2 days late.  He clearly remembered me.  Time to pick my seafood.

I knew that my first meal would be shrimp.  I decided to have it fried with garlic.  I was really hungry, so I bought 1 KG or 2.2 lbs of X-Jumbo shrimp.  There were 8 huge shrimp and I also had an order of fried noodles with Thai vegetables.  It was the best meal in Thailand in my many visits.  WOW!!!!!!!!
Maybe one time I will try the fish (Below) along with chicken

The restaurant, if you call it that was simple but it was overly equipped with waiters and waitresses.  You get whatever you need in seconds.  They are there to serve!

The service was super and the wait time was minutes.  AWESOME!  It was a great meal out and I will return.

The bill was very advanced technologically--pen and paper

Below:  This is the pile of coffee that was placed in my room by the maids.  It keeps getting more each day.  I put away the ones that I do not use, so they think I consume massive amounts of coffee and add more and more.  No wonder I do not sleep well at night!

Thailand Fact: The food is Xrxy (a roy) delicious.
