Sunday, just another day in Thailand

Thailand is not Christian, so a day of sabbath does not exist.  I am here for one month.  I bet it takes the whole month to complete this one section of sidewalk with the pile of bricks.  Updates coming.

Tuk-tuks are a very popular way for tourists to travel in Thailand.  The problem is that not only do they take you where you are going, they bring you to tailors that pay the tuk tuk driver to do so.  Even if you do not buy anything, the driver earns money.  There is no saying NO.  "Just on the way".

Cute Thai boy with mother at hotel on couch.

On the way to my hotel there are homes that people who make less than 3500 baht, 100 dollars per month live in.  The laundry is hung on the sidewalk wall to dry but they all have TV,  It is sad to me but a way of life to them.
I am going to the King's Cup Football (soccer) game at the National Stadium this afternoon.  Thailand is an underdog vs. Jordan in the Final Championship game.  They made it by a 2-2 tie with Syria but won the game on penalty kicks after OT ended in a tie.  They won 9-8 on PK's!!!!! WOW.
